SINGAPORE - SABA: Britain's Lando Norris secured a victory for McLaren at the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, marking the eighteenth round of the Formula 1 World Championship.
Norris, beginning from pole position, clinched his first title in Singapore and his third of the year, leading the race with a time of 1:40:52.571 hours, finishing 20.945 seconds ahead of Red Bull's Max Verstappen, the world champion for the past three seasons, who came in second.
McLaren's Australian Oscar Piastri came in third place with 41.823 seconds, followed by Mercedes' George Russell in fourth place, 1:01.000 minutes, and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc of Monaco, who finished fifth with 1:02.400 minutes.
Norris are second in the overall standings of the Formula 1 World Championship, 52 points behind leaders Verstappen with six races to go before the end of the season, although Verstappen has failed to win in the last eight races.
