Washington Post reported that Iran's missiles successfully bypassed Israeli air defenses & struck military facilities
[Fri, 04 Oct 2024 23:01:16 +0300]

Washington - Saba: The Washington Post confirmed that some Iranian missiles, launched in Operation True Promise 2, managed to penetrate Israeli air defenses, hitting or landing near at least three military and intelligence facilities.

The newspaper reported on Friday, based on photo evidence, that the Iranian operation "raises questions about the extent of damage to Israeli military bases."

The newspaper said that the results indicate that Tehran "succeeded more in evading Zionist defenses, compared to last April," when Iran carried out Operation True Promise, in response to the Zionist enemy's targeting of its consulate in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

Reflecting on the achievements of True Promise 2, Jeffrey Lewis, director of the East Asia Nonproliferation Program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in California, confirmed the count of 32 strikes on Nevatim alone.

The Washington Post is in addition to what was previously published by the Associated Press, which is satellite images showing damage to Nevatim, located in southern occupied Palestine.

The images show a large hole in an aircraft garage, the roof of a row of buildings near the main runway, and large pieces of debris scattered around the building.

The Nevatim is one of the most important and largest strategic air bases in the Zionist enemy entity, and includes the headquarters of the strategic command of the Air Force, and the Zionist presidential plane "Zion Wing".

The base also contains three runways, where squadrons of fighter jets are stationed, in addition to transport and refueling aircraft, and others used to perform special electronic missions.

Commenting on the satellite images published by the Associated Press, Zionist security and intelligence expert Yossi Melman confirmed that "the damage is much greater than what the army announced at the most important air force base, as is clear."

The enemy's "army" admitted that air force bases were damaged by missiles fired by Iran. He admitted to destroying buildings and maintenance plants for warplanes at the targeted Zionist air bases.

All this comes after the "army" of the Zionist enemy tried to obfuscate what the Iranian attack achieved, as it asked the Zionists to refrain from filming the places where the rockets fell, on the evening of the first of October.
