Madrid - Saba:
Real Madrid has renewed the contract of its Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior, thwarting interest from other clubs eager to secure his services.
According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, citing Spanish radio station La SER, Real Madrid and Vinícius Júnior have agreed to extend the contract for three additional years, keeping him at the club until 2030.
The renewal of Vinícius—who was crowned 'The Best' at the 2024 FIFA Awards—will include improved financial terms. Both parties have reportedly finalized all details, with the deal closer than ever, especially after Vinícius stated in an interview with the club’s official channel: "My future lies at Real Madrid."
Since joining Real Madrid in 2018 from Brazil’s Flamengo, Vinícius has played 311 matches, scoring 105 goals and providing 79 assists. He has won 14 titles with Los Blancos, including two UEFA Champions League trophies in 2022 and 2024.
In recent months, several clubs from Saudi Arabia’s Roshn Saudi League attempted to lure Vinícius with a massive offer worth €1 billion over five years, including an annual salary of €200 million. However, the 24-year-old consistently prioritized staying at Real Madrid, leading to his decision to renew.
