Raymah - Saba:

A meeting in Raymah province on Tuesday, headed by Secretary-General of the Local Council of the province, Hassan al-Amri discussed UNICEF interventions in the health sector in the governorate.

The meeting reviewed existing health interventions and future needs.

The meeting stressed the importance of expanding interventions in the field of primary health care and intensifying programs, activities and training courses to contribute to the advancement of the health sector in the province.

In the meeting, Secretary-General of the Local Council of the province Hassan al-Amari praised UNICEF's role in supporting the health sector in the province.

He stressed the keenness of the local authority leadership in the province to overcome the obstacles facing the implementation of interventions, expressing his readiness to facilitate any problems facing the implementation of projects implemented by the organization in Raymah.

In turn, health office director in the province Abduljabar Hasan stressed the need for the province to expand UNICEF activities and programs and its interventions in the health sector to alleviate the suffering of citizens imposed by the continuation of the current situation.

UNICEF representatives stressed their keenness to support the health sector in the province, praising the facilities provided to implement interventions in this regard.
