The local authority in Bani Matar district of Sana'a province organized on Thursday an expanded meeting to discuss the plan to revive activities and events related to the annual anniversary of the martyr for the year 1446 AH.
The meeting touched on aspects of activating the mobilization campaign to support the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and enhancing participation in its fifth phase, in the various districts and villages of the district and declaring readiness to confront any conspiracies hatched against the homeland.
During the meeting, district director Yahya al-Qanous pointed out the importance of commemorating this occasion in a manner befitting the greatness and status of the martyrs, considering them a high model of sacrifice, jihad, standing by the oppressed, and confronting the enemies of the arrogant nation, most notably America and Israel.
In turn, the cultural activist Ibrahim Hamid al-Din stressed the importance of commemorating the annual anniversary of the martyr to remind us of the great deeds and sacrifices of the martyrs that achieved victory and glory.
He pointed out that the status of the martyrs and their honoring is enhanced by holding activities and events that immortalize their role and sacrifices in confronting enemies and defending religion, the homeland and its gains that they were credited with achieving.
