Sixteen people were martyred and about 36 others were injured in raids launched by the Zionist enemy last night on the town of John in the Chouf district and the city of Tyre and its district.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, a raid by Israeli enemy warplanes on John in the Chouf district killed 15 people, including eight women and four children, in addition to wounding twelve others.
The ministry added: The Israeli enemy raids on the city of Tyre and its district also led to the death of one person and the injury of 24 others, while rubble removal operations are still ongoing.
It was reported this morning that hostile warplanes launched a series of raids on the southern suburbs of Beirut, targeting the areas of Haret Hreik, Bir al-Abed, Lailaki and Ghubairi, while enemy warplanes targeted the Dar al-Hawra Medical Centre in Haret Hreik with several raids.
