Israeli enemy forces have escalated their operations and arrest campaigns in the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, which has been under siege for 75 consecutive days.
According to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, Israeli enemy forces conducted dawn raids on the town of Burqin, west of Jenin, arresting several residents.
Local sources reported that Israeli enemy forces stormed the town, raided the home of recently released prisoner Sultan Khalouf, and arrested his father and brother in an attempt to pressure him into surrendering.
The Israeli enemy military has intensified its operations across Jenin Governorate, carrying out widespread arrests and detentions.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that two Palestinians were martyred by Israeli fire on Friday evening: 42-year-old Hussein Jamil Hardan in Jenin city, and 17-year-old Yousef Bakr Zaoul near the town of Husan.
The recent deaths bring the total number of Palestinians martyred in Jenin Governorate since the start of the Israeli offensive to 36, with dozens more injured.
