Dhamar - Saba:
An introductory workshop was held in Dhamar Governorate on the project "Strengthening the Resilience of Families in Yemen", implemented by the Islamic Relief Organization in the districts of Wessab Al-Safil, Utmah, and Jabal Ash-Sharq.
The project, funded by FAO at $300,000, aims to rehabilitate three water projects to provide water to 10,000 people.
The project includes the installation of solar-powered pumping systems, the construction of water networks and reservoirs, the formation and training of project management associations, and the distribution of hygiene kits, in addition to spreading environmental health awareness.
The workshop also addressed the steps of implementing the project, starting from identifying needs to forming management committees.
