Ibb - Saba:
A speech and cultural event was held in al-Qafr district of Ibb province on Saturday to mark the anniversary of the martyr.
The event honored the sacrifices of the martyrs and reinforced the importance of continuing their fight for justice and freedom.
Abdulfattah Ghallab, the official for general mobilization in the province, stressed the need to uphold the faith identity and Quranic values embodied by the martyrs.
Ghallab called for continued support for the Palestinian and Lebanese people, as well as for the resistance against the Zionist entity, emphasizing that the leadership remains committed to caring for martyrs' families and preserving the principles for which they fought.
Several speeches highlighted the significance of martyrdom, praising the martyrs' sacrifices for defending the homeland, Islamic sanctities, and the nation’s just causes.
Attendees reaffirmed their loyalty to the martyrs' legacy and their commitment to the ongoing struggle for justice.
The event also featured poetry honoring the martyrs' courage and selflessness. Ghallab launched a campaign to distribute gifts to 796 families of martyrs across al-Qafr, recognizing their enduring sacrifices.
Additionally, a photo exhibition showcasing martyrs' images was opened in the district. The exhibition depicted the bravery of those who gave their lives in the fight against aggression.
During the opening, officials reiterated the importance of following the martyrs' path and confronting external forces of oppression.
The day’s activities included a visit to the Martyrs' Garden, where al-Qafr’s mobilization officers and local leaders recited al-Fatihah in memory of the fallen.
In a final gesture of honor, the Director of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families visited several prominent martyr families in Nakhala area, presenting them with gifts as a token of appreciation for their sacrifices.
