The General Authority for Zakat's branch in Wosab al-Safil district of Dhamar province on Saturday organized a cultural event to mark the annual anniversary of the martyr for the year 1446 AH.
The event, attended by Shura Council member Dr. Abdo al-Faqih and district director Fouad al-Qudami, emphasized the significance of this occasion as a moment to reflect on the lessons of selflessness, sacrifice, and devotion to God and the nation.
Al-Qudami highlighted the importance of nurturing the culture of jihad and martyrdom, which plays a vital role in the ongoing struggle against forces of global arrogance, particularly led by the U.S. and Israel.
He praised the martyrs' noble sacrifices, which have brought honor, dignity, and victory to the nation, and acknowledged the crucial role of Zakat Authority in supporting the families of martyrs, prisoners, and missing persons across various services, including health, education, and social welfare.
Ali al-Alawi, the director of the Zakat Authority branch in Wosab al-Safil, expressed that the occasion serves as an opportunity to reinforce values of loyalty, steadfastness, and sacrifice in support of justice and the oppressed.
He particularly honored the martyrs, including the revered leader Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and recognized the resilience of resistance leaders.
Abdulhakim al-Hakimi, director of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families in Wosab al-Safil, spoke about the profound impact of commemorating the martyrs' anniversary, emphasizing the lessons learned from their sacrifices in defending the nation's security and stability.
He also acknowledged the ongoing contributions of the Zakat Authority in supporting the children of martyrs and ensuring their welfare.
The event underscored the enduring importance of remembering the sacrifices of the martyrs and maintaining efforts to support their families in all aspects of life.
