The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas called on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank to escalate the confrontation to repel settler attacks and confront their continuous attacks against Palestinian towns, villages, houses and lands.
According to what was reported by the Palestinian Information Center on Saturday, the movement's leader Abdul Rahman Shadid praised, in a press statement, the residents of Beit Furik town, east of Nablus, for confronting an attack launched by settler militias on the town this morning. He stressed that this is the way to deter their violations against citizens and their property.
Shadid also called on all factions, forces, movements and all those who carry weapons in the West Bank provinces to repel these terrorist attacks, and to unite to confront the crimes of the occupation, deter the settlers and repel their aggression against the Palestinians, their land and their holy sites.
According to the data of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority for last October, the enemy forces and settlers carried out 1490 attacks, and the total number of attacks was concentrated in the governorates of Nablus with 307 attacks, Hebron 280 attacks, and Al-Quds 179 attacks. This confirms the ongoing terrorism by the occupation entity against the Palestinian people, their lands and properties.
The commission explained that the settlers tried last month to establish seven new settlement outposts, mostly of an agricultural and pastoral nature, and these outposts were distributed by establishing a new settlement outpost on the lands of Hebron governorate with three outposts, one on Ramallah lands, another in Al-Quds, another in Salfit , Tulkarem, and the last one in Ramallah.
