Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad al-Khalili on Saturday praised the heroism of Yemeni commandos for their unwavering determination in confronting the forces of Zionist arrogance.
In a statement shared on his official "X" platform, Sheikh al-Khalili expressed admiration for the Yemeni forces, describing their resistance as a force strong enough to shatter "solid rocks and destroy firm mountains."
He emphasized that the Yemeni commandos, along with the support from Hezbollah, Gaza, and the West Bank, had delivered a powerful blow to Zionism and its supporters.
Sheikh al-Khalili further noted that the combined efforts of these forces had forced the world to recognize the immense sacrifices made in defense of justice, quoting the Quranic verses from Surah al-Qasas (5-6), which speak of God's will to elevate the oppressed and make them leaders.
He concluded his remarks by condemning the actions of "cowards and traitors" who seek honor outside of God's path, urging them to be aware of the consequences of their betrayal.
