Algeria - Saba:
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune considered on Sunday that the world is undergoing profound transformations and tensions that are pushing the international system towards a decisive crossroads.
According to the Algerian News Agency, President Tebboune stressed in a speech on the occasion of the opening of the 11th session of the Oran High-Level Symposium on Peace and Security in Africa (Oran Process), that Africa is capable of making a single and influential voice heard at the highest international authority.
Tebboune indicated in the speech read on his behalf by Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf that "the dire repercussions of the policy of polarization between the major powers are now casting their dark shadows on the stability and security of the world," adding that "this policy has exceeded international legitimacy and the values on which the international system was built."
Tebboune explained that "selectivity in determining international priorities and manipulating the principles that are supposed to unite humanity reinforces the marginalization of the African continent," noting that "wounded Palestine is the best example of the marginalization of international legitimacy and the deepening gap between declared principles and actual implementation."
He stressed that "this reality not only threatens the fate of a particular country, but also casts its consequences on the future of the international system as a whole."
