The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas emphasized that the occupied West Bank is pure Palestinian land , an integral part of the Palestinian state, a volcano of revolution and anger until the occupation is defeated.
This came in a statement issued by the movement today, Friday, in response to the Zionist entity's Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, who announced the confiscation of about 24,000 new dunams of Palestinian land in the West Bank in favor of annexation and settlement expansion.
The statement said: This announcement confirms the enemy's continued implementation of its fascist government's plan to extend control over the entire West Bank , prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state, confirms the occupation's colonialist intentions and its denial of our people's national rights.
He stressed that these dangerous decisions and the escalating settlement policy, which is accompanied by an increase in settler crimes , attacks on the villages and cities of the West Bank, will be met with more steadfastness , escalation of resistance to get rid of the occupier and cleanse the land and holy sites, as the steadfastness of the Palestinians will fail the plan of annexation and displacement, whatever the cost in sacrifices.
In its statement, Hamas reiterated that "it, the Palestinians, its factions and all living forces will continue the battle for freedom and confront the occupation's plans, which will not change the facts of history."
