The Russian Defense Ministry announced Monday the elimination of 1,530 Ukrainian soldiers, in the past 24 hours.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in its daily report on the progress of the military operation in Ukraine, that during the past 24 hours, the northern forces strengthened their positions in the Kharkiv region in northeastern Ukraine, and the western Russian forces continued their advance in Kharkovo, Gansk and Donetsk and repelled nine attacks, and the southern forces strengthened their positions in Donetsk, and 1,530 Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated.
It added that ten missiles and 36 drones were also shot down, and two cannons, eight vehicles, 13 armored vehicles, two ammunition depots and an electronic warfare station were destroyed.
Earlier today, Ukraine announced that the number of Russian soldiers killed and wounded since the beginning of the Russian military operation in Ukraine in February 2022 had risen to about 754,590 soldiers.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian forces destroyed 9,519 tanks, 19,589 armored combat vehicles, 21,061 artillery systems, 1,023 air defense systems, shot down 369 warplanes, 329 helicopters, 20,093 drones, and 2,859 cruise missiles.
