A new study revealed how Gaza Strip has become one of the worst places in the world for children, amid the continuing war of annihilation waged by the Zionist enemy on Strip.
According to the Palestinian Media Center, on Thursday, the study conducted by the Community Training Center for Crisis Management, sponsored by the War Child Coalition, showed the extent of the devastating psychological impact of the war on the children of Gaza Strip.
The study showed that 96% of children in Gaza feel that their death is imminent, while about half of them wish to die as a result of the psychological effects resulting from the ongoing Zionist genocidal war on Gaza Strip for the second consecutive year.
The children's psychological assessment was conducted in June this year, "which means it does not fully reflect the accumulated psychological impact on children," more than 14 months after the Zionist aggression.
"The report reveals that Gaza is one of the worst places in the world for children," said Helen Pattinson, chief executive of War Child UK. "In addition to the physical destruction of hospitals, schools and houses, the psychological devastation suffered by children is an invisible but devastating wound.
More than 44,000 people have been killed in Gaza Strip since the start of the genocidal war on October 7, 2023, of whom about 44 percent are children, according to the UN Human Rights Office report.
