Hodeida - Saba:
Today, Hodeida Governorate Deputy, Mohammed Hleissi, launched an art contest for art education students at Hodeida University, focusing on the impact of war and siege on women and children.
The contest is organized by the Wisam Al-Hayat Foundation for Training and Human Development in partnership with the Yemen Women Union branch, with support from the UNFPA. The aim is to stimulate the creativity of students to express through art the effects and consequences of the aggression and siege on Yemen.
The contest will take place over three days with the participation of ten contestants from the Faculty of Art Education. It adheres to specific criteria and conditions to select the winner for the best artwork representing the condition of childhood and women over ten years of aggression and siege.
The launch was attended by Al Mina District Local Secretary Hassan Rasmi, Dean of the College of Arts Dr. Mohammed Al-Maqri, Wisam Al-Hayat Foundation Director Mahmoud Bari, and Director of the Yemen Women Union branch Mona Al-Kholani.
