The Director of the Aviation Industries Department at the Iranian Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Afshin Khawaja Fard, announced that the unmanned version of the Iranian-made fighter jet "Qaher" is now undergoing flight tests.. indicating that the design of a new combat helicopter will be unveiled soon.

Tasnim International News Agency quoted Fard in a statement on the sidelines of the Aerospace Industries Exhibition currently being held on the Iranian island of Kish, saying: We provided an explanation of the new Iranian achievements in the field of turbofan engines and the domestically-made helicopter, and other details about projects under construction.
