Berlin - Saba: The German Parliament decided to withdraw confidence from Chancellor Olaf Scholz, paving the way for new elections on February 23.

Parliament Speaker Purple Bass, a member of Scholz's Social Democratic Party, announced that 207 deputies voted in favor of Scholz, while 394 deputies voted against him, and 116 deputies abstained from voting.
