New Delhi - Saba:
Twenty-eight people were killed and 11 others injured in an attack by militants in Jammu and Kashmir, northern India.
The Indian channel News 18 reported on Tuesday that "a group affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) attacked a group of tourists in the Pesaran Valley in southern Kashmir, killing 28 people and wounding several others."
According to medics at a hospital near the site of the attack in Pahalgam, the condition of the 12 injured in the attack is stable.
Local sources confirmed that all the tourists were Indian citizens who had come to Jammu and Kashmir from various parts of India.
