Gaza - Saba:
Zionist enemy forces on Tuesday carried out extensive demolitions in the city of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
The occupation forces detonated buildings and residential blocks near the Huts area, west of al-Mawasi region in Rafah, resulting in significant displacement. Witnesses reported heavy gunfire as the occupation forces advanced and demolished buildings, while sniper units were deployed in the vicinity.
Several citizens were injured, some critically, by occupation gunfire, particularly in al-Mawasi area. Additionally, a number of individuals were arrested, and a fire broke out in a cafeteria on the Rafah beach after it was targeted by occupation vehicles.
This latest round of destruction comes amid ongoing attacks on civilian homes in the region. Two days ago, a photo showed the extent of the damage caused by the bombing of residential buildings in Rafah, illustrating the scale of the destruction.
A report from human rights organizations, based on satellite images, video clips, and testimony from residents, revealed the almost complete obliteration of Rafah.
The report further indicated the total destruction of numerous neighborhoods in Khan Yunis and large parts of Shuja'iyya and Zeitoun in Gaza, as well as the area along "Netzarim Axis." The widespread devastation has left many areas in the southern and eastern parts of Gaza unrecognizable.
