Jenin - Saba:
The city of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank, witnessed a comprehensive commercial strike to protest the continued operation of the PA security services against the camp and the clashes they are waging with the resistance fighters in the city and its camp.
The website "Palestine Online" quoted local sources as saying: "Renewed clashes on Monday between the PA security services and resistance fighters in the vicinity of Jenin camp in the occupied West Bank."
At dawn last Saturday, the PA security services launched a military operation in Jenin camp, promoting the narrative that the operation was to thwart the detonation of a car bomb that was on its way to the PA headquarters.
On the first day of their operation in Jenin, the security services assassinated Yazid Ja'isa, who had been chasing the Zionist enemy for years, and two innocent children.
Ja'issa, from the Jenin Brigade, is one of the military arms that the enemy and its security services are working to crush, pursue, and assassinate because of their rejection of and resistance to the enemy.
Axios said the military operation launched by PA security in Jenin was crucial for the future of the PA and was a message to US President-elect Donald Trump.
The website added: The President of the Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, ordered the security services leaders to launch the operation to take control of Jenin and its camp, but some of them expressed reservations, which made him threaten to dismiss those who violated the orders.
The sources revealed that Abbas's aides briefed the administration of US President Joe Biden and President-elect Trump's advisers in advance of the Jenin operation. US security coordinator Mike Finzel met with PA security leaders to review their plans before the operation.
