Zionist enemy bulldozers started on Tuesday, demolishing two tourist villas in al-Nuway'imah village in Jericho city.
The mayor of al-Nuway'imah and Al-Diouk Al-Fawqa municipality, Hussam Daryat, told the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" that the occupation forces accompanied by heavy vehicles stormed al-Nuway'imah and demolished two villas belonging to Mohammed Omar.
He pointed out that there are at least 70 demolition notices from the occupation authorities targeting houses and facilities in al-Nuway'imah and Al-Duyuk al-Fauqa.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, the occupation authorities carried out 52 demolitions during last November, affecting 63 facilities, including 27 inhabited houses, two uninhabited, and 17 agricultural and other facilities, and were concentrated in the governorates of Al-Quds with the demolition of 26 facilities, followed by Hebron with ten facilities, and Nablus with seven facilities.
