The undersecretaries of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, Hadi Ammar and Adel Hajar, and the director of the education office in the governorate, Taleb Dahan, inaugurated the school steadfastness in the Matnah area of Bani Matar district, in the presence of the director of the directorate, Yahya Al-Qannous.
The six-classroom school and its annexes were built at a cost of more than 52 million riyals, funded by UNICEF. During the inauguration, Undersecretaries Ammar and Hajar stressed the importance of implementing sustainable projects that support education, calling for the expansion of educational projects to serve larger numbers of students in neighboring rural areas. Local contributions were also commended, including the provision of the school floor by a philanthropist.
After that, a stand was organized in solidarity with the Palestinian people, in which the participants expressed their support for the Palestinian resistance and the people of Gaza, stressing the need to continue solidarity with the Palestinian cause and support the steps of the revolutionary leadership.
Shura Council member Mohammed Salman and several officials visited the Imam Hussein School project in Matna, funded by the Red Crescent Society, to ensure that work is progressing according to technical specifications and schedule.
A speech event was also held at Al-Zahra School in Al-Sabaha on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of Mrs. Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, where she highlighted the meanings and values of her biography.
