The Agricultural Cooperative Union handed over the rice badge to the Aslam Agricultural Cooperative Society in Hajjah Governorate.
During the handover, the Secretary-General of the Union, Mohammed Al-Qahoum, stressed the keenness of the leaderships of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, and the Agricultural Cooperative Union to support the efforts of the Aslam Association in harvesting rice.
He considered this step an implementation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and plans and programs to motivate and encourage farmers to further expand the cultivation of the rice crop.
The Director of the Directorate Badawi Crossings and the President of the Association Jaber Adabi appreciated the support of the Agricultural Cooperative Union for the Association by providing the machine of the ketcher and overcoming the difficulties facing farmers in the harvesting process.
They urged farmers to expand the cultivation of the rice crop, as it has a role in achieving food security and reaching self-sufficiency in this crop.
