A meeting was held in the Unity Directorate in the Capital, Sanaa, to discuss forming a preparatory committee for establishing the Multipurpose Unity Cooperative Development Association.
The meeting addressed the mechanism for selecting the committee, drafting the association's bylaws and regulatory statutes, and ways to advance developmental work and enhance community participation.
The meeting was attended by several officials from the Ministry of Local Administration, the local authority, and the Bunyan Foundation. They emphasized the importance of integrating official and community efforts to activate development partners and raise awareness about the methodology of voluntary community work.
Attendees stressed the necessity of transforming leadership directives into executable programs and plans, as well as strengthening the role of associations and community initiatives in supporting service and development projects.
