Taiz - Saba:
Al-Raheda Customs Center in Taiz Governorate thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of narcotic drugs on board a car coming from occupied Aden, heading to the capital Sana'a.
The Director of Al-Raheda Customs Center, Majed Al-Ta'ifi, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the quantity seized during the travelers' procedures amounted to 18,045 narcotic pills.
He stated that the center handed over the seized items with the smugglers to the Anti-Narcotics Department in Taiz Governorate to complete the legal procedures.
Al-Ta'ifi praised the efforts and vigilance of the customs employees in uncovering this quantity, stressing that Al-Raheda Customs will spare no effort in performing its duty to the fullest extent.
