Gaza - Saba:
The United Nations revealed that the Zionist enemy uses the system it imposes on the entry of humanitarian aid as a weapon in the Gaza Strip.
Georgios Petropoulos, head of the Gaza Regional Office of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, indicated according to the Palestinian Ma'an News Agency today that Israel is hesitant to open new crossing points to increase humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
He explained that humanitarian aid convoys are directed to the Kerem Shalom border crossing, where they are exposed to the risk of looting.
The UN official pointed out that most of the looting of humanitarian aid takes place in areas controlled by Israeli forces.
He continued, "Our demands regarding the entry of aid into Gaza have not been met, and Israeli officials reject all practical solutions we offer."
