Salfit - Saba:
Zionist settlers burned a mosque in Marda village, north of Salfit, in the occupied West Bank, at dawn on Friday.
The "Palestine Today" news agency quoted eyewitnesses as saying: Settlers stormed the eastern area of the village at dawn, burned the Parental Righteousness Mosque, and wrote racist slogans on its walls.
According to local sources, residents controlled the fire before it spread to the entire mosque, limiting the damage to its entrance only.
The director of Salfit Endowments, Sheikh Othman al-Din, condemned the attack on a house of God. He called on the people to be vigilant lest this "cowardly" act be repeated by the settlers.
In turn, the of Endowments and Religious Affairs Ministry called on the international community and human rights organizations to condemn these criminal acts and hold those responsible for them accountable.
