The commander of the Navy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced on Wednesday that his country has become at a world-class level in the field of sea. "The new capability of the Fateh submarine will be unveiled within the next two months," he said.
In a statement to Tasnim International News Agency, Admiral Irani added: "In the field of sea, we have become at a global level. The new capability of the submarine "Fateh" will be revealed within the next two months."
Regarding the Iranian navy's shipbuilding activities, Irani said, "In the non-military field, we have so far built three ships."
"These ships are providing their services today at the Ports and Maritime Organization," he added. In the field of the most complex naval equipment, such as submarines and destroyers, today, the Islamic Republic of Iran is manufacturing destroyers."
"Iran has advanced in this area to a higher level, and we are now talking about heavy destroyers," he said.
"In the field of the sea, our country, thanks to the revolution, the blood of the martyrs, and the leader of the revolution has become a world-class level," he said.
"The submarine is the most complex naval equipment and then comes heavy destroyers and light destroyers. All this equipment is being designed and built in the country."
"Therefore, in the non-military sphere, ships have been built in different categories such as merchant ships, tankers, fishing vessels, and tugs.
It doesn't represent a special complication."
"Today, it is an honor for the people of Iran that the designs are made inside the country. In the field of submarines, we have the submarine Fatih, which will amaze everyone over the next two months and offer a new capability."
