Gaza - Saba:
Israel on Thursday persisted in blocking the Gaza crossings for the 234th day in a row, denying the patients and wounded the right to treatment abroad, and other civilians access to humanitarian aid.
Since its invasion of Rafah City and control of Karm Abu Salem months ago, the occupier has been closing the two vital crossings, despite humanitarian groups' warnings and international calls to reopen the terminals so as to avoid famine and further deaths among patients and wounded.
Two million Palestinians in the Strip suffer food insecurity and over 10,000 civilians are in need to evacuate, the WFP warned, expressing concerns about cuts in relief supplies due to the siege.
