Al-Tallal team won its second victory in the men's first division basketball league, at the expense of Shamsan team with a score of 55-48 in the match that took place between them on Thursday at the closed hall in Aden at the end of the second leg of the first stage (Aden Pool).
In an exciting match that witnessed a large crowd attendance, the two teams were close throughout the four periods of the game until the original time of the game ended in a 44-44 draw, forcing the two teams to play an additional five-minute period, during which the Talalians were able to settle the final score 55-48.
With this result, Al-Tallal raised its score to 6 points from four games, moving up to fourth place, one point ahead of third place Al-Burq Tarim, which has the same balance, while Shamsan reached four points from four games, occupying sixth place, one point ahead of Sana'a Unity, fifth in the standings, and Seiyun, seventh in the standings.
This concludes the first phase of the men's basketball league, which was held through three gatherings in Sana'a, Seiyun and Aden.
According to the league's schedule, the second phase will kick off on January 1 in the capital Sana'a and will bring together teams: Sana'a Unity, Ahli Sana'a, Sha'ab Hadramout, Al-Barq Tarim, and Seiyun.
