The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas confirmed that the storming of the Zionist enemy army Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, and forcing medical staff, patients, and displaced people to leave it at gunpoint is a Zionist war crime added to the series of ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.
Hamas said in a statement on Friday that the barbaric shelling that targeted the vicinity of the hospital led to the death of more than fifty martyrs, including five medical staff, noting that these crimes are carried out amid international inaction and suspicious global silence.
The movement added that this crime comes within the campaign of extermination carried out by the criminal Zionist enemy against civilians in the Gaza Strip, which is carried out with the support and full complicity of the US administration, stressing that the full responsibility for the lives of patients, wounded and medical staff in the hospital lies with the Zionist enemy, and those who stand behind it from supporters and partners in the ongoing crimes.
The Movement called on the international community, the United Nations and all actors to break the shameful silence and take immediate action to stop the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, and to work to hold the occupation and its terrorist leaders accountable for their crimes, which are classified as war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The movement concluded its statement by stressing that the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of this barbaric aggression will continue, stressing that the Zionist enemy will fail to break the will of the Palestinian people and their legitimate struggle for freedom and independence.
