The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights condemned in the strongest terms the barbaric Zionist aggression that targeted Sana'a International Airport, the Haziz power plant in the capital, the port, the Ras Kutayb power plant and the Ras Issa oil port in Al-Hodeida province.
A statement issued by the ministry, received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), said that the Zionist enemy's bombing of civilians, facilities and civilian objects, causing the martyrdom and injury of a number of citizens and causing great material damage, as much as it represents a violation of Yemen's sovereignty, it reveals the determination of this abnormal entity , usurper of the land and Islamic holy sites to sink into the quagmire of war crimes targeting the Yemenis , destabilizing international peace , security in the region and the world.
It pointed out that the Zionist enemy's targeting Sana'a airport at a time when the envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, the United Nations Resident Coordinator and their companions at the airport were preparing to leave, represents a blatant challenge to the international humanitarian system and reveals the extent of Zionist contempt and disregard for the international humanitarian system.
The statement expressed alarm at the inability of the international community to stop the crimes of the Zionist entity , the United States against humanity, and the inability of the UN system to protect its organizations , employees in Yemen and before that in Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
He pointed out that the silence and complicity of the UN and the shameful positions have greatly contributed to the Zionist entity, and behind it the US and Britain, to flout international law and commit more crimes against the peoples of the region.
The statement emphasized the importance of respecting Yemen's sovereignty and stability, considering that the Zionist entity's targeting of Yemen and civilian objects such as airports, ports and power plants represents a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, international human rights law, international criminal law and all international norms, covenants , laws, and puts deep scars on the face of the United Nations system.
It reaffirmed the right of the Yemenis to support the Palestinians , their just cause, and the humanitarian options that Yemen stipulated in its support for Gaza, related to stopping the aggression and siege on the Palestinians.
The statement of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights called on the international community, primarily the Security Council, the countries of the world and various international and human rights organizations to condemn the blatant Zionist aggression against Yemen, stop the Zionist orgy in Yemen and a number of countries in the region that threatens international peace , security, and take serious steps to force the usurper entity to stop the genocidal crimes it is committing in Gaza.
It also affirmed the full right of the Republic of Yemen, guaranteed by all divine and humanitarian legislations, to defend its people, sovereignty, independence , territorial integrity, and that aggression will not deter the Yemenis from continuing to support the Palestinians as a principle of faith, morality and humanity.
In its statement, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights reiterated its commitment to monitor all crimes and violations of aggression against Yemen and its people in preparation for the prosecution of the entity and its supporters in national and international courts.
