The exhibition hall of the Architectural Studies and Training Center of the General Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities witnessed on Thursday the opening of the "Palestine Our Cause" cartoon exhibition.
The exhibition brought together a number of cartoonists: Ammani Al-Warith and Kamal Sharaf from Yemen, Mustafa Karmali from Turkey and Ali Kahtan from Iraq.
The drawings dealt with the Palestinian issue from several angles, and expressed Arab inaction and global complicity in committing the most heinous crimes of genocide against humanity in the modern era.
They stressed that the quill in the hand of the free painter is more powerful than the cannon, and every drawing is a condemnation of the Israeli killing and extermination machine supported by the US and Britain, and a defense document for a usurped homeland, a stolen house, and a dream that has turned into deep pain.
