Sana'a (Saba) - Deputy Minister of Transport and Chairman of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority Yahya Al-Sayani announced the resumption of work at Sana'a International Airport and the operation of civilian flights to Jordan, and UN flights and those of humanitarian organizations operating in Yemen after it was directly targeted by the Israeli aggression.
Al-Sayani explained in a press conference held today at Sana'a Airport that this morning a civilian flight of Yemenia Airlines was operated on its scheduled date, heading to Queen Alia Airport in Jordan, in accordance with the conditions and requirements in effect at international airports.
He stated that the Israeli aggression aircraft targeted Sana'a International Airport yesterday during the landing of the Yemenia Airlines plane coming from Jordan, coinciding with the preparation of a flight for a UN plane taking off from Sana'a Airport, which was carrying the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus.
