Sana'a - Saba:
The Administrative Body of Sana'a Governorate convened on Saturday under the leadership of Governor Abdulbasit al-Hadi to discuss key issues aimed at enhancing development work within the province.
The meeting, attended by Secretary-General Abdulqader al-Jailani, reviewed a proposal from the Executive Unit for Projects, Maintenance, and Development of Roads and Public Places regarding the purchase of new equipment and machinery for the emergency work team. The proposal was approved, with the technical committee assigned to oversee the procurement process, and the Director of the Executive Unit added to the committee.
Additionally, the Authority addressed requests from the Public Works Office for the restoration of the government complex in Bilad al-Rus district, as well as a road expansion project in Badia al-Ashiq al-Darm - Lahab al-Asfal - Manakhah district. The project will involve surveying and expanding a 1.58-kilometer stretch of road.
The meeting also reviewed a presentation by the province advisor, Engineer Abdulrahman al-Murtada, on community initiatives projects. The Authority approved referring the presentation to the province's projects committee to examine delays in project timelines and propose appropriate solutions.
Furthermore, the Committee decided to add a representative from the Legal Affairs Department to the Province's Projects Committee to enhance legal oversight.
