Hodeida - Saba:
Director of the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in Hodeida province Yahya al-Wadaei and a team from the unit conducted a field visit on Wednesday to evaluate the implementation and impact of several agricultural and fisheries projects funded by the unit.
The inspection included the rehabilitation project of the central slaughterhouse in Hodeida city, where the team reviewed progress and discussed technical challenges with those responsible for implementation.
The Unit Director also inspected ongoing work at a shrimp factory, a project aimed at increasing the value of marine resources, supporting employment, and achieving self-sufficiency in marine products.
A visit to the fishing port allowed the team to monitor urgent infrastructure development work intended to serve traditional fishing activities and improve fish preservation and handling.
Al-Wadaei emphasized the importance of continuous field monitoring to ensure quality implementation and achieve the desired development impact, particularly in sectors crucial to citizens' livelihoods like agriculture, fisheries, and livestock.
He stated that these visits help improve performance and facilitate support decisions, ultimately enhancing the Project Financing Unit's effectiveness in reaching its development goals within the governorate.
