London - Saba:
Piccadilly Square in the center of the British capital, London, is scheduled to witness a public stand on Saturday to denounce the heinous Zionist crime that targeted Kamal Odwan Hospital, north of the Gaza Strip, its medical staff and patients.
The Palestinian Forum in Britain called in a statement on the Palestinian community and its supporters in the United Kingdom to participate in the rally stressing that targeting hospitals and health facilities "reveals the moral and legal responsibility of the world to stop these serious violations."
In a horrific crime added to the record of its violations against the health system, the Zionist enemy forces burned Kamal Odwan Hospital on Friday after storming it, damaging the surgery, laboratory and emergency departments, and arresting its staff, while others were martyred after being surrounded by fire, as the fate of the hospital director, Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, remains unknown.
The Forum denounced the shameful international silence and the clear Arab inaction in the face of this aggression, which reflects the brutal nature of the Zionist enemy.
It called on the Palestinian, Arab and Muslim communities, and all friends of the Palestinian Cause, to organize similar protests in other British cities at the same time, "to raise our voices loudly against this brutal aggression."
The Forum also called on the international community and the British government to immediately stop the aggression, and urged the international community to pressure the Zionist enemy forces to stop targeting health and humanitarian facilities.
The UK-based Forum called for providing urgent medical and humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza Strip, and hosting wounded Palestinians for treatment.
"We urge the British government to provide treatment to wounded Palestinians in UK hospitals," the Forum said, "given the catastrophic health situation in the region. Depriving them of this treatment is complicity in the ongoing genocide."
It also called for holding the leaders of the Zionist enemy accountable and prosecuting them for their crimes against humanity, especially targeting medical facilities.
