Sana'a-Saba:
First Deputy Prime Minister Scholar Muhammad Muftah and Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim were briefed today on the works being implemented in the Al Saelah Sana'a - Al-Nasr Street Intersection.
Muftah and Qahim inspected along with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Organization for Roads and Bridges, Eng. Abdul Rahman Al-Hadrami, and the Director of Maintenance at the Corporation, Eng. Abdul Qader Badi, on the construction of the supporting walls of the eastern side of the Al Saelah at the intersection of Al-Nasr Street and other works related to removing dust and waste, which contribute to facilitating traffic under Al-Nasr Bridge.
During the visit, the First Deputy Prime Minister directed that the retaining walls of the Al Saelah be quickly completed according to the rainy season.
In addition, Muftah and Qahim, the Mayor of the capital, Dr. Hamoud Obbad, and the President of the Roads Foundation inspected the progress of the implementation of the project to rehabilitate the main sewage transmission line - the first phase in Sana'a liquid, funded by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), with a completion rate of 80 percent.
The First Deputy Prime Minister urged those in charge of the project to quickly complete the remaining works to contribute to improving the sewage network of the capital municipality and preserving the old city of Sanaa.
