Occupied Quds - Saba:
Avi Ashkenazi, military analyst in the Zionist newspaper "Maariv", commented today on the missile that was launched from Yemen to Tel Aviv last Monday.
Ashkenazi said: "The missile launched by Yemen is capable of evading air defense systems, carrying a warhead weighing about 450 kg and increasing its range to 700 to 1,000 km in new versions, and its speed is 1,500 m/s (5,400 km/h)."
On Monday evening, sirens sounded in the Gush Dan settlement and throughout central Israel, following the launch of several rockets from Yemen.
The Israeli army radio confirmed the interception of two ballistic missiles launched from Yemen on Monday evening, saying that one of them was intercepted outside Israeli airspace, which was denied by the deputy head of the media authority in Yemen, who confirmed that the two missiles reached the skies of Palestine without being intercepted.
For his part, Palestinian political science professor Dr. Suhail Diab pointed out that the Yemeni missiles that hit Israel penetrated seven defense systems along their way from Yemen to reach the Israeli depths, which raises great concern for the Israeli interior and the Israeli leadership.
