London - Saba:
There are doubts about the upcoming match between Liverpool and Manchester United on Sunday evening, in the 20th round of the English Premier League, due to the warning of bad weather in northwest England.
Liverpool is scheduled to host Manchester United at (18:30) GMT on Sunday evening, at Anfield stadium in the top match of the English Premier League's 12th round.
The region is expected to face additional heavy rain, after days of flooding that led to the cancellation of train trips and the closure of roads, with a warning issued by the Met Office, according to the newspaper "The Sun".
The warning begins at 9 pm on Saturday and continues until 11:59 pm on Sunday, England time.
Temperatures are expected to drop below zero on Saturday night, which may lead to the stadium and surrounding areas being covered in snow.
The biggest challenge is not in preparing the stadium, but in ensuring the safety of the tens of thousands of fans who will attend the match.
A meeting of the Safety Advisory Group is likely to be held on Sunday, and will include officials from the two clubs, representatives from Merseyside Police, and Liverpool City Council.
The Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton was postponed in early December due to Storm Dara.
A number of non-professional league matches were postponed on Saturday due to bad weather and frozen pitches.
