Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting in the capital Sana'a on Monday, led by Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water Dr. Ali Mohammed and Director of the Islamic Relief Organization Siddiq Khan focused on strengthening the partnership between the Ministry and the Organization.
The discussion included exploring ways to enhance cooperation and the potential for the Islamic Relief Organization to support Yemen’s water and sanitation sector in 2025.
The meeting, which also included key officials from the Ministry, reviewed the ministry’s needs for the upcoming year, aligned with the government's program of change and construction.
The two officials discussed how the Islamic Relief Organization could contribute to advancing the water sector, particularly by supporting water projects in both rural and urban areas.
Minister Mohammed emphasized the importance of continued cooperation with the Islamic Relief Organization to address Yemen's urgent water and environmental sanitation needs.
He expressed hope for the organization's support in implementing priority water projects that serve citizens.
Director Siddiq Khan affirmed the Islamic Relief Organization's commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Ministry and continuing its efforts to support water and sanitation initiatives in Yemen.
