People of Al-Mahra have announced new phase of peaceful escalation to address external interference

Al-Mahra - Saba :

The peaceful sit-in committee in Al-Mahra governorate announced a new phase of peaceful escalation to confront external interventions that target the social fabric of the people of the governorate and destabilize security and stability.

In today's meeting, chaired by Sheikh Ali Salem al-Hurayzi, the committee held Saudi Arabia entirely responsible for destabilizing security and undermining the social fabric of the people in Al-Mahra. This is mainly due to Saudi Arabia's renewed support for extremist groups and the establishment of camps for these groups within the governorate.

The Committee emphasized its commitment to prevent any external interference that could undermine the social fabric or disrupt the functioning of institutions.

Sheikh al-Hurayzi called on the people of Al-Mahra to stand united to protect the province from any external interference, stressing that the coming days will witness a peaceful escalation and angry protests demanding the departure of Saudi and foreign forces from Al-Ghaydah airport.

The participants expressed their categorical rejection of any attempts to infiltrate the province, holding the so-called Presidential Council fully responsible for allowing the establishment of foreign-backed military formations, which include extremist elements.

They stressed that these steps represent a direct threat to the security and stability of Al-Mahra, warning of the danger of external agendas aimed at destabilizing security in Al-Mahra, calling on all social and political components in the governorate to unite to face these challenges.
