Sana'a-Saba:

Today's meeting in Sana'a, chaired by Prime Minister Ahmed Ghalib Al-Rahawi, discussed aspects of coordinating the work of entities whose activity requires the use of the radio spectrum, the use of frequencies properly and safely, and ending the current interference between wave users and broadcasters.

The meeting, which included First Deputy Prime Minister Allama Mohammad Miftah, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Lieutenant General Jalal al-Ruwaishan, ministers of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, information Hashim Sharafuddin, communications and Information Technology Engineer Mohammed al-Mahdi, Deputy Minister of transport and works Yahya Al-Sayani, Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar al-Bukhaiti, assistant director of the Prime Minister's office Taha al-Sufyani, officials and specialists in the three ministries, discussed the mechanism to end interference between the users of waves and between the caused by the continuous interference between the waves.

The prime minister stressed the need to take the necessary measures and measures to end interference between radio waves and the waves of other parties that use the radio spectrum. He pointed out the need to build on the steps achieved during the past period.

The meeting formed a committee of Transport, Public Works, Media, Communications, and Information Technology, headed by team Al-Ruwaishan, to study the problem from all aspects and identify technical procedures to end the interference between frequencies and raise the results within a maximum period of one week from the date of the final discussion and take what is necessary to start the implementation of procedures urgently.
