Berlin - Saba:
Leipzig, fourth in the German Football League, has signed right-back Redl Baku from Wolfsburg with a contract extending until 2027.
The German club announced in a statement on its official website last night that it had signed the player due to its great confidence in his capabilities, which are expected to be a real addition to the team.
Baku, whose contract with Wolfsburg ended in the summer, will replace German international Benjamin Henrichs and will continue to be absent from Leipzig until the end of the season due to his injury.
Leipzig is in fourth place in the German league with 27 points, behind Eintracht Frankfurt, which is in third place on goal difference, and will face its guest Werder Bremen tomorrow in the 16th round of the competition.
