The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas confirmed that the criminal attack by the Zionist settlers on the towns of Al-Funduq and Jinsafut, east of Qalqilya, which included burning, abuse and destruction of property, at a time when settler terrorism is escalating in all areas of the occupied West Bank, requires escalating resistance in all its forms to confront the terrorism of the settlers and the occupation.

The movement said in a press statement: "The terrorism of the settlers with the support of the extremist Zionist occupation government is conclusive evidence of the occupation's terrorist approach and its fascist extermination plans against our land and our people in the West Bank."

It pointed out that the escalation of settler terrorism confirms the need for urgent action by the heroic Palestinian people in all the governorates of the West Bank to launch a massive uprising of anger to deter the settlers and repel their terrorist attacks.

It stressed that the enemy's attempts to unleash settler gangs to launch attacks at a time when its army is carrying out extensive military campaigns and setting up dozens of military checkpoints in the occupied West Bank, will not succeed in pushing the Palestinian people to give up their land and rights, but will rather fuel further steadfastness and defiance.
