The Chief of Staff of the Zionist enemy army, Herzi Halevi, announced today, Tuesday, his resignation from his position due to his failure on October 7, 2023.
Halevi said in a tweet that his resignation comes as a result of his admission of responsibility for the army's disastrous failure on October 7.
Halevi's tweet read: "This failure accompanies me every day, hour by hour, and this is how it will be for the rest of my life."
He added, "On the morning of October 7, the army failed under my command to protect the "Israelis" and "Israel" paid a heavy and painful price in lives, prisoners, and the physically and psychologically wounded."
He indicated that his resignation will take effect next March.
Halevi's resignation comes days after the resignation of the commander of the Zionist intelligence unit "8200", Yossi Shariel, for the same reason, which is the failure on October 7.
