The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Samir Bajaala, met with the Secretary-General of the Motherhood and Childhood Council, Akhlaq Al-Shami, to discuss the process of integrating some sectors into the ministry, including the Motherhood and Childhood Council.

The minister stressed the continuation of the process of change and development to improve services, especially for mothers and children, pointing to the government's keenness to address challenges and ensure that sectors respond to the new stage in a way that serves the public interest.

For her part, Akhlaq Al-Shami affirmed the Council's commitment to continue working according to mechanisms that support women's and children's issues and promote social welfare.
