Experts in the health sector revealed today, Saturday, that "the health system is disastrous and completely collapsed throughout Gaza Strip as a result of the Zionist genocidal war, and its reconstruction will require about 12 years.
This came in an event organized on Saturday by a group of health workers, under the title "The Great Protest in the White Tent", in front of the United Nations office in the Swiss city of Geneva, to highlight the events in Gaza.
The participants described Israel's practices in Gaza Strip after October 7, 2023, as "genocide," stressing the need not to remain silent about it.
Sarah Ghaly, a Dutch health worker, said the event calls on the UN to protect health workers in Gaza and the West Bank "because they are under attack like we have never seen before in our lifetime."
Ghaly added that the health situation in Gaza has reached a "catastrophic level, with more than 1,400 attacks on health facilities since October 7, 2023," resulting in the martyrdom of more than 1,000 health workers.
